About Us

SENMAK is more than a name, it’s an acronym built from our family: Stephen, Emilie, Nick, Matt and Karen, and it reflects the people behind everything we do. What began more than 25 years ago as a side venture, renovating homes on nights and weekends while working as a physiotherapist, has grown into a dedicated building business grounded in hands-on experience and problem-solving. Over time, small projects turned into larger responsibilities, leading to a full commitment to construction. Five years ago, the next generation joined, with Nick bringing a background in commercial real estate and expertise in feasibility and financial strategy to complement decades of building knowledge.

Today, SENMAK focuses on renovations, extensions, and new builds across Melbourne, with a clear approach: build properly, manage projects responsibly, and stand behind every job with our family name. We remain intentionally small, valuing trust, accountability, and genuine care in every project we take on.

Stephen Reddish

Sole Director & Registered Builder

Stephen has been a registered builder for over 25 years. His extensive experience, passion for creation and steadfast attitude to problem solving has enabled him to complete over 100 high-end projects during this time.

Stephen has also designed, built, and lived in 20 of his own homes giving him a unique understanding of the construction process and an ability to offer valuable insight and guidance into each stage of the process.

Nick Reddish

         Construction Manager         

Having acquired two bachelor degrees in Commerce and Property & Real Estate, combined with four years’ experience as a Real Estate Agent at JLL, Nick has had extensive exposure to the property world! Nick’s passion to continue learning lead him to complete his Certificate IV in Building and Construction, and this is how he discovered his passion for managing residential projects.

Nick is known for his excellent communication skills and is motivated to support clients in achieving their visions. He is dedicated to ensuring that every project is smooth and enjoyable for everyone involved.
